Two articles caught my eye today, both dealing with the possible coming rise of eBooks (thanks to Amazon's Kindle reader). The question is whether the publishing industry is on the verge of making the same mistakes the recording and movie industries have made, flatly refusing to acknowledge how their customers would like to use their content.
Both of these articles assert that it's not the availability of technology that gives people the urge to pirate. It's that sometimes piracy is the only way to get the content you want in the format you want.
