Apple annouced today that the iPhone will now be getting full Exchange support, including the "push" email popular with RIM's Blackberry devices.
This basically brings iPhone straight into the enterprise in a big way. There are a lot of businesses who rely on Exchange and/or their Blackberries to do business, and now all of those folks can choose iPhone to do that.
Also included is the ability to "remote wipe" a phone should it get lost. This has been an important security feature that IT departments all over the world had said was a dealbreaker for the iPhone.
In related news,
Gadgetell has an article with more information about the true costs of switching an office (or corporation) to the Mac.
It's getting interesting out there!
