Oliver is a proponent and user of "free software".
Free software projects leverage a global community of programmers and
support teams to create software that grants people liberties rarely
found elsewhere. These free software projects allow each of us to
contribute to the greater good by building on the work of those that
have gone before, and adding our own enhancements for those that will
come later. For the client "free software" often means shorter
development time, greater compatibility, and costs that can be applied
towards services and/or customizations instead of upgrades.
Oliver has a habit of finding extremely
useful programs both commercial and free. His broad range of research
has come in handy over the years at Bright Solutions. More recently his
abilities in linux, security, and Python & Network programming have
expanded the services we offer.
